Google is about to shut down a major feature of Gmail.

Google is discontinuing yet another feature, this time within Gmail. Starting in January 2024, Google will no longer support Gmail's basic HTML view, a feature that has been in existence for over a decade. Users who rely on this stripped-down email interface will be automatically switched to the Standard view after the specified deadline. Google has notified Gmail users about this change through email. In their message to users, Google explained, "We’re writing to let you know that the Gmail Basic HTML view for desktop web and mobile web will be disabled starting early January 2024. The Gmail Basic HTML views are previous versions of Gmail that were replaced by their modern successors 10+ years ago and do not include full Gmail feature functionality." Apple expands the power of iCloud with new iCloud+ plans

As announced during the iPhone 15 launch event, Apple has now introduced new iCloud+ plans, which will provide more storage to users. This includes the new 6TB and 12TB storage options and if this interests you, have a look at their prices. The new 6TB iCloud+ plan is priced at Rs 2,999 a month while the 12TB plan will cost you Rs 5,900 a month. These two new plans will be ideal for content creators, who tend you have a lot of data to back up. Both these plans can be shared with up to 5 other members, possibly someone from your family, much like other iCloud+ plans. The plans join the existing 2TB, 200GB, and 50GB plans. Microsoft seems to have removed the waitlist to try the new chat-based Bing experience, so anyone can now join and try it right away. Microsoft is apparently offering free USB drives to select Windows Insiders, following the changes to the Insider Program that include the introduction of the new Canary channel. As part of these changes, Microsoft moved all Insiders in the Dev channel to the new Canary channel, which essentially works the same way as the Dev channel used to, but is now more focused on long-term development.
