On iOS:

1. Open Google Maps and search for the place you want to go to.
2. Scroll horizontally on the info bar where you see Directions, the option to save, and more.
3. Here, you will find the option to ‘Download offline map.’
4. Once you tap it, you will be able to select how much of the map you want to download.
5. Tap on Download to start the process.

On Android:

1. Open Google Maps, find your destination.
2. Swipe up and locate the three-dotted menu in the top right.
3. Select ‘Download offline map’ and pick your desired map area.
4. Tap Download, and you are all ready to go.
