What Is Google Family Link?
Family Link is a Google service designed to help parents manage their children’s Android devices and Google accounts. It allows parents to set digital ground rules and keep track of their child's activity online. Here’s a brief overview of what Family Link offers:
- App Management: Parents can approve or block apps their children want to download from the Google Play Store.
- Screen Time Limits: Set daily screen time limits and establish bedtimes to help manage the amount of time children spend on their devices.
- Activity Reports: View reports on how much time your child is spending on apps and what they are doing online.
- Location Tracking: Track the location of your child's device.
- Device Locking: Lock your child's device remotely if needed.
Account Management: Manage and monitor Google accounts and settings, ensuring a safe online environment.

Unfortunately, I can’t display images directly here, but you can find visuals by searching “Family Link app” in Google Images or visiting the official Family Link website.
Family Link is also now available on the web for you and your children. If you’re away from your phone or don’t have the app, you’ll still have access to the features you need online. For your children, their Family Link web experience will help them better understand their parental control settings.
These updates will start rolling out today and will be complete over the next few weeks. Keep an eye out and learn more at Family Link.
